Beyond the Table is a quarterly food and lifestyle magazine with a focus on sustainability and the “slow food” movement. It takes a deeper look into the supply chain of food, striving to preserve local culture and cuisine.
Through exclusive interviews with local producers, and thoughtful articles about emerging topics in farming practices, Beyond the Table seeks to understand and tell the stories of farmers, makers and growers local to this region.
Loaded with organic recipes, DIY remedies, home & garden tips, and food & wine events, readers of Beyond the Table can learn to cultivate a wholesome, balanced, slow food lifestyle.
REQUIREMENTS
Design a 24-page lifestyle magazine with information and transparency around the slow food movement.
With this shared sense of clarity, and a stance against globalised agriculture, my mission is to share the stories that seek to preserve and protect the traditional farming practices of this land.
RESULT
The result is a 24-page high-end consumer magazine ready for print production.
TOOLS
The tools used for this project are Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.
